Cade Keith Shoots Vegas Elite Premier 13U to G365 National Title

Las Vegas, Nevada – G365’s inaugural National event in Vegas got off to a solid start as teams from across six different states came together to battle for the summer title. With Vegas Elite 2023 Blue team clinching G365’s #1 ranking earlier this summer, the Vegas Elite Premier 2024 team made a big statement to end the year by winning its second consecutive G365 14U title. With the win, Vegas Elite Premier 2024 will end the year in the Top 10 and will be in the running for the top 8th grade team next season.

Vegas Elite’s Premier sharp shooter, Cade Keith, earned MVP honors after have an outstanding weekend shooting the ball and making key stops on the defensive end. The 8th grade All-Tournament team included, DJ Overstreet of Vegas Elite Premier, Jaedyn Brown of Rocky Mountain Fever, Alijah Adem of Chosen Few, and Kardian McCollough of All Vegas.

In the 7th grade Gold division, G365 Mountain West’s #3 ranked team, Loyalty Vegas Panthers, took home the championship after defeating Norcal’s Arsenal 43-37 in the championship game. The Loyalty Vegas Panthers will end the season as a G365 Top 20 team. Runner-up, Arsenal, will end the season as a Top 10 Norcal Team. Loyalty Vegas Panthers, Brian Townsend, earned MVP honors. The 7th grade All-Tournament team included, Dylan Ennis of Arsenal, Andre Blakely of Arsenal, Gabe Pickens of GIVE Sports, and Randy Nance JR. of Vegas Elite Blue. Hawaii’s, Na Koa Basketball Academy, took home the Silver division championship.

The 6th grade division was dominated by PFB Elite as they went undefeated and won the championship game by 13 against G365 SW #9 Hustle Elite AZ. PFB Elite’s Tayshawn Caesar, earned MVP honors. Caesar is a tremendous talent, he has a great all-around game and loves to play at a fast pace while being able to knock down shots in the half court setting. The 6th grade All-Tournament team included, Rodrigo Trujillo of LV Punishers, Kai Efron of All Vegas, Quincy Kirk of Hustle Elite AZ, and Diako Vasconcelos of Select Few.

In the 5th grade division, G365 MW #1 Vegas Elite put on a dominating performance as they claimed the championship by going undefeated. MVP, Jaxon Price, helped lead the team to a 14-point victory over a solid Triple Threat (CO) team in the championship game. The 5th grade All-Tournament team included, Bam Candolesas of Vegas Elite, Amare Larane of NEBA, Zion Harris of PFB, Martez Sargent of Vegas Elite Blue, and Kristofer Garcia of Triple Threat.

G365 #13 LV Punishers took home the 4th grade division with a big victory over Mystery Kid in the championship game. LV Punishers and MVP, Amare Jordan, dominated by knocking down open shots, rebounding, and being a great team player. David Conerly of Westside Warriors, Jackson Humphries of The Program, Elijah Booker of Vegas Elite, and Caleb Hourani of Mystery Kid round out the 4th grade All-Tournament team.

The 3rd grade division came down to a battle between G365 #9 Vegas Elite and G365 #10 Team Vegas. Going in to the championship game, Team Vegas looked like the team to beat after beating Vegas Elite in pool play. However, on championship Sunday, Vegas Elite breezed through bracket play and then battled past Team Vegas in the championship game. Vegas Elite’s, Tristan Washington, earned MVP honors and received an invite to the EBC Junior All-American camp. The 3rd grade All-Tournament team included, Tony Williams of Team Vegas, Sawyer Hutton of Vegas Elite, Kash Mckinney of AZ Gym Rats, and Kaemon Thomas of West Coast Rebels.

The 2nd grade division had Vegas Elite earning a Top 5 ranking by going undefeated and twice defeating #5 AZ Gym Rats. Kane Ellis earned MVP honors by hitting on an array of three-point jumpers throughout the weekend. In the championship game, Ellis appeared to have knocked down every 3-point attempt he took and had the crowd cheering on all his attempts. The 2nd grade All-Tournament team included, Will Star of Westside Warriors, Amari Carroll of Team Vegas, Titus McNair of AZ Gymrats, Cash Torres of Vegas Elite.
