SD Relentless Future National 14U Shows Up at OGP Fall Kickoff Anaheim, CA – With the recent announcement of G365 2019-2020 Circuit, the Championship Cup events will split the basketball season into 3 during the year. Teams across all five west coast regions are hoping to compete for the Winter Cup Championship needed to make a lasting impression at the recent OGP Kickoff tournament. SD Relentless Future National 14U team did just that by going 5-0 and beating some of SoCal’s top ranked teams. Point Guard Joe Angel Cruz led the way for SD Relentless Future National and earned MVP honors. The 8th grade All-Tournament team included Jonah Coward from Team Level Elite, Kasen Krueger from Lakeshow, Jonathan Moxie from Team Create, and James Wei from SD Bulldogs Select. The 7th grade open division featured a classic double overtime championship game between top ranked One Vision and up and coming Team Aon. Chris Cain capped off the championship win for One Vision with a game winning post play lay-up in the final seconds. Sharp-shooting Ryan Gov from One Vision earned MVP honors. The 7th grade All-Tournament team also included Jake Hall from SD Bulldogs Select, Tyrrell Miller from Team Aon, Gloria Barrera from IEBP Roughnecks, and Angelino Mark from SGV Blue. The 6th grade open division featured some of the top players in the class in Jayden Gray from SD Prospects and Tyran Stokes from Hoopislife Loyalty. Gray who was the recent MVP of the EBC/Ballislife Junior All-American Camp managed to outduel Stokes to help push the SD Prospects team to an impressive championship win. Gray earned MVP honors and Stokes earned All-Tourney honors. The 6th grade All-Tournament team also included, Malakai Perrantes from SBA, Ethan Eckles from BEB, and Oliver Nakra from AVAC H. The 5th grade gold division featured a special championship match-up between One Family and Matt Barnes’ G1 Elite Red team. One Family pulled off a close game victory, 41-39, behind MVP Kenneth Martinez. The 5th grade All-Tournament team included Jaivah Lewis from G1 Elite Red, Tavid Johnson from OBGC Finest, Christian Lusk from OGP HQ, and Matthew Burton from G1 Elite Blue. In the 4th grade gold division, Bakersfield Elite Ballers pulled off the championship victory over Hoopislife Loyalty 35-32. RJ Shehee from Bakersfield Elite Ballers earned MVP honors. The 4th grade All-Tournament team included Sabino Martinez from One Family, Dustin Mac from SGV Blue, Chritopher Hamilton from Hoopislife Loyalty, and JJ Ward from Program Humble. The 3rd grade gold division was won by G365 top ranked Hoopislife Loyalty. Brayden Currie from Hoopislife Loyalty earned MVP honors. The 3rd grade All-Tournament team included Brandon Tso from SGV, Vadin Shah from House of Handlez, Logan Gardner from AVAC Hawk Hoops, and Chloe Jenkins from Hoopislife. In the 2nd grade division, DOJO Elite made its circuit and championship debut by defeating SGV Blue. Jaylen Lopez from Dojo Elite earned MVP honors. The 2nd grade All-Tournament team included Jayden Chang from SGV, Austin Kar from SGV, Jayden Chang from SGV, Mac Baker from Dojo Elite and Brandon Holmes Jr. from Team Nikos.
