RECAP: EBC Bay Area


Oakland, CA. – The 4th installment of EBC Bay Area attracted over 150 of the top players from the bay. In the past, the Bay Area camp has attracted talents like Devin Askew, Jaden McClanahan, Jovon McClanahan, Kendall Munson, Kyree Walker, Raymond Hawkins, Robby Beasley, and Shemar Morrow. This year featured some talented players that will likely have a big impact as freshmen and beyond.

Here is a look at some of the top players in attendance that stood out:

  • 2022 MOP Devin Day (Chuck Hayes Elite) – The 6’2” point guard earned MOP Camp honors after another terrific showing on the circuit. He has good length, allowing him to finish at the basket, and also has the ability to make plays and set-up others.
  • 2022 Aidan Mahaney (MVP Flight) – The 5’9” guard is a leader and floor general who is crafty and quick with the ball. Always works to put teammates in the right position.
  • 2022 Tariq Johnson (MTB) – The 5’9” wing is a threat on both ends of the floor. He has a great feel for the game, sees the floor well, and is strong enough to finish in the paint. Defensively, his on-ball defense is better than most of his peers.
  • 2022 Ron Jones (Oakland Soldiers) – The 6’3″ forward has an excellent motor that helps him create offensive opportunities and defensively create havoc.
  • 2022 Aiden Burke (MVP Flight) – The 6’2” Burke has a strong mid-range pull-up game, but is also versatile and strong enough to finish in the paint.
  • 2022 Kimani Stafford II (Play4Keeps) – The 5’9” guard has great footwork to go along with a nice shooting stroke.
  • 2022 Isaiah Whyte (Chuck Hayes Elite) – The 6’0” Whyte is a playmaker with a strong build that allows him to overwhelm his opponents on the offensive end.

  • 2023 King-Jhsanni Whilhite (Oakland Soldiers) – The 5’8” guard is a fierce competitor who can score the ball well from both the perimeter and by attacking the basket. There aren’t many who are better at beating their opponents off the dribble, than King.
  • 2023 Evin Goodwin (DOCS Elite) – The 5’8” wing displayed his ability to get to the hoop throughout the camp. He possess great body control, solid footwork, and is able to finish with strength at the basket. He is also an adept shooter.
  • 2023 Tyler Parr (Gauche Elite) – The 5’3” Quinet took home MOP honors by displaying good floor general skills. He is extremely instinctual on the floor, can knock down shots, and defends.
  • 2023 Bryan BJ Davis (Oakland Soldiers) – The 5’2” guard is a versatile guard that can slash and finish and will attack opponents on the defensive end.
  • 2023 Jackson Okumura (Foothill All-Net) – The 5’0” lead-guard has a tremendous motor and solid playmaking skills.
  • 2024 Shamar Jones (Oakland Soldiers) – The 5’11” wing earned MVP honors by outplaying his opposition on both ends of the floor. Defensively, Jones’ length makes it tough to get by him. Offensively, he creates opportunities for himself by being active on the boards and scoring at high rate when he has the ball in his hands.
  • 2024 Jamari Phillips (Oakland Soldiers) – The 5’4” playmaker has one of the better ball handling skills in his class and does a terrific job creating both himself and his teammates.
Marshel Sanders Kasen Krueger Hudson Greer Dallas Washington Alvin Loving Raymond Whitney
  • 2024 Marshel Sanders (Fresno Swoosh Elite) – The 5’5” point-wing continues to prove he is one of the more athletic and versatile players on the circuit. Sanders is tough and can finish very well in the paint. He also has a great feel for the game and solid playmaking skills.
  • 2024 Kasen Krueger (ASA Prime Blue) – Krueger is a highly competitive lead-guard with solid ball handling skills and enough quickness to get in the paint and finish.
  • 2025 Hudson Greer (Open Gym Premier) – The 5’4” wing earned MVP honors by showing he can do it all on the offensive end. Greer can shoot, work the post, and create for himself and others.
  • 2025 Dallas Washington (Oakland Soldiers) – The 5’8” wing has improved his playmaking skills, and at his height, the sky is the limit.
  • 2025 Alvin Long (Oakland Rebels) – The 5’4” wing is nice athletic young player that can slash and finish in the paint.
  • 2025 Raymond Whitley (SF WHPH) – The 5’0” lead-guard continues to show he is one top guards in his class. Whitley can score, create for others, and simply take over games at his young age.
