Breaking: 2023 Elijah Nielsen Paves the Way for Team Aaron Brooks Seattle, CA – After taking in the local talent at the two day EBC Washington camp, we did not think there would be any Sunday surprises at the G365 Washington Showcase. However, we were proven wrong by 8th Grade MVP, Elijah Nielsen and his club Team Aaron Brooks. The Seattle based club team went 3-0 on their way to the championship, defeating G365 PNW #6 ranked, Local Hoops and Oregon’s PDX Elite in the championship. Team Aaron Brooks will be given high consideration to join the G365 Top 25 when rankings are released later this week. Rounding out the All-Tourney 8th grade team were Brooklyn Hicks (Team Aaron Brooks), Sherrell McCullum Jr. (Mega 1), Isaiah Crane and Robert Rean (PDX Elite) and Darus Harvey (Seattle Rotary). In the 7th grade division, Hard Work Beats Talent (HWBT) proved they are a G365 Top 25 team by winning over a field that included G365 #24 ranked, West Academy. Cater Willford earned MVP honors. Team Bradley held true to their G365 #6 ranking and won the championship over Seattle Rotary Style Black. Hidder Almosawo earned MVP honors. In the younger divisions, the G365 #6 ranked team, PDX Ballers, took home the 5th grade championship. Corbin Croslin earned 5th grade MVP honors. Game Time swept the 4th and 3rd grade divisions. Noah Dennis earned MVP honors for his G365 #8 ranked 4th grade team. Emmanual Tillman earned MVP honors in the 3rd grade division.
